I recently had the opportunity to test drive the 2014 Kia Soul, and I, like my children, was beyond excited! Last year, I had the opportunity to drive the 2013 Kia Soul, where we learned it was a very fun vehicle. It would be interesting to see the changes made to the 2014.
When the 2014 Kia Soul ! (Exclaim) pulled up in the driveway, there were visible changes in the exterior – a longer and wider body. It was definitely sleek and more sophisticated – I couldn’t wait to get in and check it out!
The 2014 model has an amazing panoramic moon roof that allows the sun to shine in – even when the high for the day is only 32 degrees! It was a brutal cold week in our area, so I was thankful for the heated leather seats! (The seats are also air conditioned, but that was no where in the picture on this super cold day! It would be much appreciated during the summer, though!)
The Kia Soul has an eight-inch touchscreen with bluetooth wireless technology, rear camera display and helpful navigation system. The Soul is also equip with SIRIUS/XM satellite radio.
Safety features include dual front airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags and full length side curtain airbags. The vehicle also offers a traction control system, hill-start assisted control and electronic stability control. It’s ready for a variety of trips, ranging from family to fun.
Speaking of fun, the Kia Soul has an infinity audio system with speaker lights that will make you ready for any trip.
And speaking of trips, there was plenty of room for a trip to the grocery store in the rear of the vehicle. (There is more hidden storage back there, too!)
The Kia Soul ! is a great vehicle that will make you feel young again! My children kept asking me to download “the hamster song” so we could play it while driving around town! One of these days, I will! And I’ll also request the Kia in alien green, so I, like those amazing looking hamsters, can be totally transformed when I step out!

Fun is right! I love those hamsters! I like seeing a picture of the back. It looks small but there is a bunch of room for shopping trips.
My grandma has a 2013 Kia Soul and it is such a fun car! The 2014 looks like it’s even better!
