I have been in need of an new cell phone, so I went to our local Best Buy Mobile specialty store to find out more! The employees were very helpful and explained the process as we went along. I was given information on the trade in program and told the amount I could receive (on a gift card) for my current phone. Important data first had to be collected from my phone, including security information and checking for water damage. When all checks passed, we proceeded with the process and I was indeed given a Best Buy gift card, which I could apply to my new phone or use on another purchase! It was quick and simple! I had no idea they did this EVERYDAY!
There are many cell phones to choose from at Best Buy Mobile specialty stores. It was fun to see different features from the selection of products and figure out what would work best for me! Since I was eligible for an upgrade on my current plan, I had the option to switch carriers as well as mobile devices. The employees were really helpful in sharing tips and helping me figure out my options.
Once a new cell phone was chosen, I was told contacts and other pertinent information could be easily transferred from one device to another, using the handy machine you see above. It could be a lengthy process (depending on your stored information), but it was so reassuring to know I wouldn’t have to go back and type in (or write down) all of my contacts!
If you have an old phone in a drawer, visit a Best Buy Mobile Specialty store near you to see what the trade in value is! If it is in working condition, you could get up to a $200 Best Buy gift card! *Make sure you bring in the charging cord when you go – it adds a little bit to the amount you receive on your trade in!

We love the trade-in program at Best Buy and have used it for both my husband and I!!!
Whaaat? How fancy! I do have a few phones and not in use. Can you bring in more than one? I may have to check out Best Buy Mobile. I like that they offer different services and plans so you won’t be sweet talked into something you don’t need!
Trade in is the only way to go! I have been debating what I want to do for the next phone. Perhaps it’s time I check out Best Buy!
If you could only see my kitchen drawer of old used phones. We are really hard on them and our kids can manage to download enough apps to one phone to cause it to never work again. :/
