My children have been looking for ways to bring winter inside, since it’s way too cold to go outside right now. (17 degrees in Texas, and winter doesn’t officially start for another week!)
One thing I used to love doing as a child, was making paper snowflakes – something my children hardly get the opportunity to do in school or art class. My daughter couldn’t contain her excitement when I told her we were going to spend Saturday morning making easy snowflakes with the help of her favorite characters from Disney Frozen and Bounty.
We talked about the unique features of a snowflake, stressing that there is no right or wrong way to transform your napkin into art, but the way a Bounty quilted napkin is pre-folded is an important part of the process! We added a few more folds of our own and took out our scissors to start cutting triangles, diamonds and squares from each corner.
Once the snowflakes were cut, we unfolded the napkin to see what we had created. It was fun to string the Frozen themed snowflakes on white thread and hang them in the doorway of bedrooms! This simple craft is likely something my children will remember for a long time, and I’m grateful for a few minutes to create these memories!
We decided to have a “Disney Day” and make some Disney inspired pancakes for breakfast! I was so glad we had Bounty Prints featuring Disney Frozen nearby to clean up the mess!
The Frozen paper towels are available in select-a-size, which is a huge bonus for a large family! I love the fact that we can use half sheets for small messes and larger ones, when needed. And since Bounty is 2x more absorbent than the leading ordinary brand, you don’t have to use as much. Rolls typically last families 50% longer, which means less time in the stores shopping for supplies and more time making memories with your children!
