Easter is this week and Cheetos, the masters of cheese, have brought back Sweetos Cinnamon Sugar Puffs just in time for the holiday – but only for a limited time! Sweetos took snackers by storm last year by swapping the signature Cheetos cheese flavor for delicious, cinnamon-sugar puffs for the first time in the in U.S. market in the brand’s nearly 70 year history.
I had no idea what to expect of Sweetos, since I had never tried them before today, but I have to admit that I almost ate the entire bag! The delicious cinnamon-sugar puffs have the perfect amount of sweet, and it’s a great snack for blogging through the day. It’s also a great filler for Easter baskets!
The vast majority of Americans love Easter treats, myself included! Each Easter, Americans purchase more than 120 million pounds – 60,000 tons – of candy animals according to the Statistic Brain Research Institute. The Cheetos brand and Chester Cheetah believe it’s time for a change. And that’s why the Cheetos brand is imploring parents – and everyone – to stop eating the candy animals and take a bite out of Sweetos instead.
Are you tired of waking up to the same old treats on Easter morning? You’re not alone. 43% of consumers say marshmallow animals are overrated, and many are in interested in options for Easter treats beyond just candy. According to a recent survey, 72% of Americans who eat candy animals each Easter season eat the ears off chocolate bunnies first while 25% make it quick and eat entire marshmallow chicks all at once. It’s time to save the candy animals!
