As we continue with the list of available Discounts for Teachers, today I present book stores that will help you save on printed materials!
- Half Price Books – The Half Price Books’ Educator’s Discount Card rewards community educators with a 10% discount. Available to teachers, homeschoolers and librarians. (Renew card each fall.)
- Barnes & Noble – With The B&N Educator Program, teachers can save 20-percent off the publisher’s list price on purchases for classroom use. Get up to 25% off the publisher’s list price during Educator Appreciation Days.
- MagMall – If you are considering magazine subscriptions for your classroom, call MagMall to let them know. Some magazines will be available with a discount of up to 50% off. Make sure you tell them the name of your school and the position you serve.
- Scholastic – Scholastic books are a hit with students and teachers get great perks for their classroom, too!
- The Newspaper – Most local and popular newspapers will provide a discount for schools. Call them to find out! The New York Times is available to educators with a 50% discounts, with the first four weeks only costing $0.99.
