My husband likes to watch sports on tv, especially basketball. While he watches, I like to indulge in the food that comes along with a game. For that reason, we have made it a point to make delicious game time grub that the entire family can enjoy. One of my favorites? Finger foods, such as fries, onion rings and the perfect “go with everything” sauce for dipping.
This sauce can really be used for everything. I like to dress up my burgers, slather on my chicken and have it handy for dunking oven baked snacks. It’s so easy to make, especially when you have great appetizers such as Alexia Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings, which I usually buy at Walmart. I like to keep these in the freezer so I can reach for game time food on a whim. They are so easy to pop in the oven, resulting in a quick 20 minute snack.
Using just a couple of ingredients, you can whip up the dip and have it ready before the fries and onion rings are ready. Even better, you can store this dip in the refrigerator for future use, too.
Goes With Everything Sauce
- ¼ Cup of Light Mayo
- 3 Tablespoons of Ketchup
- ¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ⅛ Teaspoon of Pepper
- ⅛ Teaspoon Seasoning Salt
Add the mayonaise to a small bowl and stir to make smooth. Add the ketchup and stir again to combine. Mix in seasonings. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Note: make sure you look for the onion rings near the bags of fries in the frozen food department
