Valentine’s Day is tomorrow. What are you doing to celebrate the occasion? I usually start the day off with a heart or pink shaped breakfast, then move on to a small gift through the day. (You can’t forget the special Valentine’s Day themed lunch, too!) Then I let my children choose something special for their teacher and treats for the class party!
With so many options on the market these days, it’s easy to spend lots of time in awe on the candy aisle. There’s one brand, in particular, that you can’t go wrong with: Hershey’s.
With an estimated $1.6 billion spent on Valentine’s Day candy in 2013, this year is sure to even top that amount with even more sales and full bellies. A few treats worth considering this year:
- Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cup Minis Valentine’s Exchange
- Jolly Rancher® Hard Candy Heart Box
- Hershey’s® Solid Milk Chocolate Heart
- Jolly Rancher® Heart Shaped Lollipops
- Twizzlers Heart Shaped Nibs
- Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolate
Of these, my favorite is the Reese’s Peanut Butter Hearts. These delicious hearts are ready for your class party, with a space for writing “to” and “from” on the back of each. And, they come in a package of 28, which is perfect for most class sizes PLUS a few extras for Mom.
