There was a feature on the cost of allergies during our local news broadcast one night. (Yes, one night. The segment was advertised during the commercials on a show I had DVR’d. So who knows when it actually aired. All I know is I missed it. I would have loved to hear the information.)
Anyway, I started thinking….how much do my allergies really cost me?
I take medicine for my allergies almost every day. There are a few weeks I can go without, but for the most part, I believe I should own at least a third of the company by now.
My medicine is about $25/month (and yes, that is generic). This means I spend roughly $300/year on allergy medication alone. Not to mention the kleenex and eye drops I usually end up purchasing, too!
