Mother’s Day is this Sunday! This will be my 12th year celebrating Mother’s Day, and without a doubt, it’s going to be just as special as my 1st. I always try to do something focusing on my children for Mother’s Day – by making a craft, spending the day outside, telling them stories or by going through their baby memorabilia, including my letters to baby.
I love when we reminisce over the baby memorabilia. I have a small shoebox for each child, and you’ll find hospital bracelets, outfits, cards and personal letters inside. My children love it, too – especially the letters I wrote them before they were born.
I just gave birth to my 4th child, and sure enough, I had nine months to write him a letter, but kept putting it off. *let’s keep it real* I never got around to it. But after watching this video, it inspired me to write that letter to him tonight, even though he is healthy and happy at 3 months old. (PS – it’s never too late!)
This Mother’s Day, Huggies created a sweet video of expectant moms and dads reading letters to their baby. Take a look… (and have tissues nearby.)
