For a week, my children have been playing the Light in the Dark game that quickly caught my attention. With main characters like Totem babies and their parents, it’s hard to resist the urge to jump in on a level. The object? Direct a light on the baby to reunite him/her with his parents. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong…
Just when I thought it was easy, I learned that those cute babies can come in one color or a combination of colors, which leads you to blend colors to save babies with the light of that blended color… yeah. This leads to a goal of lighting up stars that can also be a color or a blend, but then you have to find the perfect angle to light up the babies and all the stars. It’s captivating and addicting and over 120 levels of fun!
The app soon incorporates mirrors reflecting light and blocks to block it and there are mummies that you don’t want to wake in the process. It’s problem solving, logical thinking and time-passing at it’s best! I love watching my son solve a level, so I know just what I need to do! The competition between the two of us is intense! I won’t even mention he has me beat!
Two lucky The Frugal Mom readers will each win a code to download this app for free, for the device of their choice!
