Make Taxes Less Taxing! #Giveaway

Dawn Monroe 58 Comments

Tax time is here!  For many of us, the month of April is a bit stressful!  Papers, numbers, envelopes and stamps become a cluster….all in preparation for the deadline that is usually on April 15.  *This year, Federal Tax returns are not due until April 17.

SentrySafe wants to “Make Taxes Less Taxing.” this April.  SentrySafe and the ”Make Taxes Less Taxing” promotion gives simple tax return tips, a place to take a quick break from your taxes with fun games and best of all, a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $5,000 savings bond!

SentrySafe sent me a nice (and oh-so-heavy) SentrySafe Fire-Safe Waterproof File, Model HD4100, which is available on Walmart.com for about $67.  The safe is perfect for storing Birth Certificates, Wedding Certificates, Social Security Information, Insurance papers, Tax Information and more!  (Yes, MORE!  The safe holds up to 40 hanging files and has a top area for electronics, CDs, USB Drives, etc!)

I was also challenged to create the Ultimate Tax Survival Kit!  In my kit, I have a pack of new ink pens, snacks, drinks, file folders, a notepad, index cards, a calculator, ALIEVE and more!  What would you put in your Survival Kit?  What if one lucky reader won a $25 Walmart gift card to create one?  Or better yet….

One lucky The Frugal Mom reader will win a SentrySafe Fire-Safe Waterproof File, Model HD4100 and a $25 Walmart gift card!  (approximate value:  $92)

Enter through the Rafflecopter form below!  (Some readers may have to click the Read More button to see the form.)
*Be sure to complete the mandatory entry!  Invalid entries will be void.

I hopefully will be teaching by next year so all receipts for stuff I’ve purchased for the classroom would be perfect to put in there.

The first thing I would put in for my ‘Tax Survival Kit is my Social Security Disability Award Letter. My husband seems to ‘misplace’ it every year. Then, of course, I’d add birth certificates, social security cards, and maybe gift card or coupon for a nice dinner out to celebrate when we file them. I might even add a photo of something small we’d like to purchase with our refund as motivation.
