Michael’s Craft Store is hosting a summer kids program, Passport to Imagination, where children (ages 5 and up) can let their imagination run wild! And when I say run, I mean it! It’s going to be a museum road trip, touring 7 of North America’s best museums and experiencing culture through projects inspired by world-class exhibits!
From June 16 to August 1, Michael’s stores nationwide will offer classes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. And the best part? Each 2-hour session is only $2. (Yes, Mom! That says $2 for 2 hours!)
We visited our local Michael’s store this week, where we learned about fossils! My children were engaged in the crafts, and had fun participating in questions as they were asked.
My children ended up making 3 projects each, which sparked great conversations and my appreciation for continuous summer learning.
The store also offers a few at-home projects, based on the day’s theme. My store had a nice display of these projects, with instructions and supplies ready for purchase. My daughter can’t wait to make the dinosaur feet from flip-flops, which I thought was a really fun idea!
