ARLINGTON, TX. (January 13, 2011) ~ This Valentine’s Day, The Parks at Arlington is pulling out its heart-shaped bow and arrow to make amends to shoppers who were Crossed by Cupid at some point in their lives. Beginning January 17, shoppers can enter the Crossed by Cupid contest on Facebook (facebook.com/TheParksAtArlington
The contest closes January 31. A panel of judges will narrow down all the entries to 10 finalists. On February 4 the top 10 entries will go live for a national, public vote on The Parks at Arlington’s Facebook page. The Grand Prize winner will be notified on February 14, 2011 and win a trip through Apple Vacations and a $1,000 Shop Etc. gift card. Second place winner will receive a $500 Shop Etc. gift card. Third place will be rewarded a $250 Shop Etc. gift card.
“Valentine’s Day is fun, but every once in a while, the romance goes a little astry. Our Crossed by Cupid program is offering shoppers a chance to turn the story of a romantic evening gone wrong into a shopping trip,” says Debi Martinez, marketing manager of The Parks at Arlington. “I hope everyone who has a Valentine’s story to tell will send it in on our Facebook page.’
