Memorial Day is just one week away and in honor of Carry The Load, DFW GMC Dealers want people to salute a veteran or active duty military hero or first responder (fire, police, medical) by going to the DFW GMC Facebook page and entering a “salute.” If you have a story and photo to share about the person you are saluting, DFW GMC Dealers will donate an additional $5 if you post it on their Facebook wall.
DFW GMC Dealers – a 2013 sponsor of Carry The Load– will donate $5 for every salute and story up to $10,000 from today through May 25, 2013.
Go “Like” DFW GMC on Facebook, leave a salute by May 25th – go to https://www.facebook.com/gmcdfw (if you are on mobile, go to http://woobox.com/gjjg28) and click the “Salute!” tab.
Carry The Load is a non-profit organization, founded in 2011 by two former U.S. Navy SEALs – Clint Bruce and Stephen Holley – to help people celebrate a meaningful Memorial Day. Carry The Load holds a 20-hour Memorial March over two days to honor veterans, active duty service members, law enforcement officers, firefighters and their families, and to raise funds to support designated beneficiaries.
DFW GMC dealers will also be spotlighting their employees who have “Carried the Load.” Check out GMC DFW dealer’s Facebook page to see their salutes.
