PayPal is now an option at Coinstar kiosks! You can take your coins to a Coinstar machine and add them to your PayPal account balance! You can withdraw money from your PayPal account, too!
I use PayPal all the time! I send money to family and friends, make online purchases and use it for business purposes! There is always a little money in my PayPal account, because it’s so convenient! It’s nice to know I can immediately add or deduct money from PayPal, while doing some grocery shopping at Albertsons.
I told my children we would be visiting the Coinstar “machine” on our next shopping trip, and they were super excited! We have always seen the kiosk, but have never used it! This is a great experience for all of us!
My children immediately began looking for coins and collecting them in a bag, in preparation for our shopping trip. After two days of collecting, and asking my husband to empty his pockets and truck console, they had collected roughly 100 coins. (It was fun leaving random coins around the house for them to find, too!)
I was asked to enter my PayPal email address, which I did, and the kiosk searched for my account. It took about five seconds to access the PayPal database, then my children were able to start dropping the coins in. Any coins that are rejected or not recognized by Coinstar are immediately given back to you.
