Use Your Insurance at PediaQ At-Home Urgent Care

Dawn Monroe 1 Comment

A few months ago, I shared information on PediaQ, which is an On-Demand Pediatric Urgent Care app every Mom could fall in love with.  And since they now accept insurance and have a fun back-to-school special, it’s easier than ever to give them a try and see exactly what I’m talking about!

Right now, PediaQ is waving their convenience fee, so your only cost for a Pediatric House Call visit is your urgent care co-pay!  And if you don’t have insurance or don’t want to use that policy, PediaQ’s cash pay pricing is very competitive compared to pediatric urgent care centers, and much less then the ER for common illnesses!

PediaQ is available weekdays from 4pm-12am and on weekends from 8am-12am! They treat: Strep/Flu, Vomiting/Diarrhea, UTI/ Stomach Ache, Ears/Sinus, Eye Infection, Asthma/Allergies, Pneumonia/RSV, Cuts/Bites/Burns, Sprains/Strains. (For a complete list of treatments, click here!)

PediaQ is staffed with the highest quality pediatric focused nurse practitioners in the market. Most of the Q Certified nurse practitioners have 5-10+ years of pediatric experience, which will reassure any worrying parent!  And the best part?  There are no waiting rooms or fear of contamination from other patients, since the visit is done in your own home!

Make sure you download the PediaQ app and connect on Facebook!

If you were to go to an ER with the urgent care diagnostics, they will doubt the knowledge level of the urgent care.

So, I do trust the urgent care, but might still prefer the ER
