Are you expecting? Are you looking for a labor gown? If you’re going to bring your own labor gown, bring one that makes sense! Pretty Pushers labor gowns are a smart, soft and stylish alternative to the unisex hospital gown for modern labor and delivery.
Pretty Pushers are gowns with openings in the right places to allow for fetal monitors, IVs, and epidural access…so that you don’t have to be uncomfortable and exposed to accommodate these sometimes necessary accessories while in the hospital.
Pretty Pushers offers four different options in gowns to choose from. I was sent the Original Solid Delivery Gown Pink for review. The gown is extremely soft and light weight. The 100% Organic Cotton Pretty Pusher features a beautiful frill design around the neck as well as along the bottom. The back has a low opening, which is suitable for an epidural while keeping your bottom covered. (No more flashing visitors!) There is also an opening in the front that has a double tie closure. The front opening is meant for monitoring around your belly, if needed.
Pretty Pushers also has a commitment to the environment. Instead of using synthetic fibers, pure cotton and water-based inks are used. 60% of the paper used in the packaging is recycled and millions of gallons of water and chemicals are not being used on the washing of all the hospital gowns.
Buy It: Pretty Pushers can be purchased online, with prices starting at $29.00 (gown) and $26.00 (underwear).
Disclosure: I was sent a Pretty Pushers gown and a set of underwear for inclusion in my Holiday Gift Guide. All opinions are my own.
