Have Christmas Fun When You Sparkle at The Anatole

Dawn Monroe 1 Comment

sparkle My family was invited to stay and play at The Hilton Anatole this past weekend.  We stayed at the Anatole a few weeks ago, and loved this visit just as much as the first!  This is a huge resort with art around every corner.  It’s like a museum inside and they could seriously charge for admission through the doors!  (My favorite piece is the Berlin Wall.)

travelOur visit included tickets to Sparkle!, and sparkle we did – but only after stopping for a quick Marionette Puppet Show in Geppetto’s theater!  I’ve been to a few puppet shows before, but this one was unique… we were introduced to the puppets before the show, given a demonstration on how the puppets worked, then taken back stage to see how everything is put together.  It definitely set us up for more fun!

sparkle 1We left the puppet show and made our way to Sparkle!, which is a room filled with Christmas activites.  Sparkle is all inside this year, so there’s no need to worry if it’s too hot or cold (hey, we’re in TX and you never know!) outside.  Inside the hall, you can catch a glimpse at the reindeer, bounce in a bounce house, make a few crafts, stick to the velcro wall, get your face painted, have lunch, ice skate and visit with Santa!  There are definitely enough activities to fill your afternoon!  Everything is included in the price of admission except: Face painting, food/drinks from the food trucks and pictures with Santa.

sparkle 3My children loved Breakfast with Santa on Sunday morning!  The Hilton Anatole set up a breakfast buffet, where we ate eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit and cereal!  (There is even a lower buffet set up for kids to serve themselves!)  Santa walked around the room and took a few minutes to sit with my children as he read their wish lists and answered any questions they had!  This was a great opportunity for pictures!

sparkle couponWe left the Hilton Anatole and my children asked if we could go back next year.  I was excited to hear that because that’s slang for the word FUN!

  • Make sure you take advantage of these coupons: FRUGALMOM to get ½ price tickets through December 15th to any day of Sparkle!
  • Get a free kids admission with a toy donation from 11/28-12/16 (weekdays only)
