Every time I take my children to the dentist, I’m reminded of the fact that one day, my children will need help to straighten their teeth. With three children who have several baby teeth to lose beforehand, I have time to look into my options: braces or Invisalign.
I remember the day I got braces. I had a bad bite. I mean bad. Needless to say, I spent the first day of my high school summer in the orthodontist’s office getting my “metal mouth”. For three years, I went through adjustments, pain, wax and rubber bands. For three years after that, I was supposed to wear a retainer. I think I only wore it for about 9 months… but don’t tell my orthodontist that.
I’ve been prepping myself for my son’s next dentist appointment, where I know they’ll mention teeth alignment again. I recently had the chance to learn about Invisalign Teen, which is available as an alternative to teens and pre-teens. I’m happy to work with them to share information about the brand, through this post, though all opinions are my own.
