In past years, Target guests loved following the ongoing adventures of a variety of characters—including our beloved mascot, Bullseye—in Target’s holiday marketing campaigns, whether it was a trip to Wonderland with Alice, or a magical journey to light up a tree. (my favorite!)
This year, they are raising the curtain on a Broadway-style production: Catch their top toys of the season, as they team up with celebrity friends—Oscar, Golden Globe and 10-time Grammy winning artist John Legend, and Legend’s wife, television personality and No. 1 New York Times best-selling author Chrissy Teigen—to put on “The Toycracker,” which is a take on the classic story of “The Nutcracker.”
“The Toycracker” comes to life on December 11, when it will air as an eight-minute musical story in two parts during the network broadcast premiere of Disney’s “Frozen” on ABC. So set a reminder on your calendar and make a night of it! I suggest heading to Target for a few pairs of comfortable sock slippers, some hot chocolate and a new blanket! (I like to warm it in the dryer for a bit before my children snuggle up!) It’s sure to be a night to remember, and perfect for making memories this holiday season!
