Cancer is the one thing that brings everyone together. Someway, somewhere, we all know someone who has walked or who is walking that journey. It a nasty thing. When I watched the trailer for The Fault In Our Stars, I immediately added it to my “must see” list. I also knew I had to run out and read the book.
Just watching the trailer will lead you to tears. The storyline, even more:
Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel’s other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.

I’ve read the book and watch numerous trailers for this movie. I am excited, but at the same time hesitant about seeing it because of all the emotions.
I hope you had the chance to read the book, it’s beautiful!
I’m not usually one for sappy movies but I saw the previews for this one and it looks really good.
