Amy Poehler and Will Ferrell might be two of my favorites. They are funny, enjoyable and always leave you wondering which film they will be in next. Good news: They are pairing together in The HouseThe House, which will be in theaters on June 30.
After Scott and Kate Johansen (Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler) lose their daughter Alex’s college fund, they become desperate to earn it back so she can pursue her dream of attending a university.
With the help of their neighbor Frank (Jason Mantzoukas), they decide to start an illegal casino in his house, and with the idea that they can earn 4 years worth of college tuition running this (illegal) casino, these determined parents set their plan into action!
Have you ever found yourself in a situation similar to this? Do you have a child that has hopes and dreams, and you’d do anything to help make that come true? My children are young, but have dreams bigger than one could imagine. Right now, my son is in football, but has recently shown an interest in golf. I love that he wants to be outside, but it puts a toll on the checkbook, if you know what I mean! (Someone set up a casino in my house, quick!)
With all the stress of helping our children, you definitely deserve a wild parents night out at the movies with The House! One lucky Hustle Mom Repeat reader will receive a $50 gift card to enjoy a Parent’s Night Out!
Giveaway ends at 11:59pm CST on July 2 and is open to US residents only.
