I have received information and products from McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNeil-PPC, Inc., the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post for She Speaks.
My daughter and I catch several things together: bugs, flowers and unfortunately, colds. As parents, we all know there is one thing worse than catching a cold and it’s having your child catch a cold. It’s hard to watch them feel icky and miserable. Knowing the cold has to run it’s course, the right medicines will help make them comfortable.
Still, in those moments of not feeling well, I look beyond the cold and find the smile. The smile that shows a sign of relief or a sign of wellness. And one smile leads to two, and two to four. Those smiles fill you with joy and laughter, and soon you forget about the sicknesses.
TYLENOL® was so inspired by those “feel better” smiles that they launched the SMILING IT FORWARD™ campaign. The power of SMILING IT FORWARD™ was set in motion by How I Met Your Mother star, Alyson Hannigan. By sharing the first smile of her two daughters, Hannigan triggered the first donation from TYLENOL® to Children’s Health Fund, an organization well known for its mobile medical clinics that provide healthcare services to underserved children throughout in the U.S.
Now, until mid-January, Moms across the country can join in by sharing their own smiles at SmilingItForward.com, prompting TYLENOL® to make a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund, up to $100,000, helping to ensure a doctor’s visit is always in reach for children in need.
I’m SMILING IT FORWARD™ because I know the feeling you get when you have a sick child. I don’t want any parent to be unable to provide or find medical care for their child.
