Earlier this week, I visited the Eggo Waffle Bar Truck at Walmart, and I decided to bring the fun home to our kitchen! The Waffle Bar Truck is currently traveling around Texas and will move a total of 200 times over 100+ days. You will want to catch it when it’s in your area because those waffles were delicious! The truck started traveling in April and will continue through September!
I love the idea of creating an Eggo Waffle Bar at home. We always eat Eggo Waffles for breakfast, so I was excited to see they now have no artificial flavors and the colors come from natural sources. This was a big hit with my family, and we will definitely have another waffle bar for our 4th of July brunch!
I took a trip to Walmart bought everything I needed for a Waffle Sundae: Kellogg’s® Eggo® Homestyle Waffles, Kellogg’s® Eggo® Blueberry Waffles, Smucker’s® Hot Fudge Spoonable Ice Cream Topping, Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter, Reddi-wip® Original Dairy Whipped Topping, M&M’s® Minis Milk Chocolate Candies (210 cal per serving), and Breyer’s® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream. I couldn’t wait to put the waffle bar up!
The waffle sundaes were incredible and so easy to assemble, once everything was laid out on the waffle bar! (See just how I made them below!)
- Toast the Eggo Waffles until lightly brown.
- Spread Jif Creamy Peanut Butter on the warm waffle.
- Add a scoop of Breyers Natural Vanilla Ice Cream to the center.
- Put Reddi-wip® Original Dairy Whipped Topping around the ice cream.
- Top the ice cream with more whipped topping.
- Add Smuckers Hot Fudge.
- Top with M&M’s Minis Milk Chocolate Candies.
Make sure you catch the Eggo Waffle Bar Truck at a Walmart near you. Check this list for locations!
