Michaels:  On Sunday, August 21 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, create a personalized foam stamp and print – great for name tags and labels.  FREE Make-It and Take-It.  (While supplies last.)

Target:  Select a city to find FREE or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area.

Highland Village Balloon Festival:  August 19-21  FREE admission.  Parking $5.
Copperas Branch Park, I-35 Service Road & Lewisivlle Lake (southbound service road, just south of the bridge)

Fort Worth Stockyards: Watch as cowboys perform a cattle drive in the Fort Worth Stockyards daily at 11:30am and 4:00pm. Then you will be able to enjoy an old fashioned Gunfight Show directly after the cattle drive on Saturday and Sunday at 11:45 AM and 4:15 PM.

Harvest & Grape Stomp in Grapevine:  Saturday, August 20, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Delaney Vineyards, 2000 Champagne Blvd., Grapevine, TX

FREE harvest and stomp. $1 per wine taste. Delaney Vineyards is celebrating its 20th Annual Harvest every weekend in August. The event encourages families to come and learn about grape harvesting and how wine is made. Plus the community has the opportunity to get “feet-on” experience stomping grapes and enjoying a day of family fun – for free.

Build-A-Bear – Wish Bearemy a Happy Birthday! Visit Build-A-Bear for mascot appearances on Saturday August 20th and Sunday August 21st from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.

Dollar Days at Dallas Arboretum:  August 1-31, 2011, 9 AM- 5 PM   Daily
Celebrate the final days of summer at the Dallas Arboretum where everyone pays $1 admission everyday through the month of August. Be sure to stop by the Hoffman Family Gift Store where other great $1 items can to be found.

Don’t forget about the Texas Sales Tax Holiday – August 19-21, 2011.
