Most of you know my love for Paula Deen. She is a good ‘ol Southern women, who inspires many. Her site is bookmarked, because in my spare time (whatever that is) I like to just browse through recipes. Paula has helped make my family’s dinner choice many many times.
I recently came across this recipe for White Hot Chocolate. Does it get any better? I can’t wait for the first hint of winter, just to make this!
Servings: 2-4 servings
Ingredients:
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup heavy cream
4 cup half-and-half
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Vanilla whipped topping, for garnish
Mint leaf, for garnish
Directions:
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine white chocolate chips and heavy cream. Stir continuously until white chocolate chips have completely melted. Stir in the half-and-half, and vanilla extract. Stir occasionally until heated through. Pour into mugs and top with a dollop of vanilla whipped topping and garnish with mint leaf.
