Smell the Yankee Candle Collection for Men

Dawn Monroe 1 Comment

I love walking into a house with a scent…. as long as it’s a good scent! Regardless of what time of the year it is, I always appreciate smells for the seasons: pumpkin for Fall, cookies for Christmas, sweet smells for Easter and Beer for Father’s Day.

Yes, I said beer. As in a beer scented candle, which is one of the scents from Yankee Candle’s popular limited edition Man Candles collection.

Before you start raising an eyebrow at the idea of a Man Candles collection, let me tell you about the scents available, because they will make perfect gifts for Father’s Day, Birthdays and Graduation:

  • On Tap™ – The cool, golden aroma of a freshly poured draft beer.
  • Camouflage – A natural, woodsy blend of fresh air, golden leaves and oak tree bark.
  • Man Town™ – Escape to the man cave with this masculine blend of spices, woods and musk.
  • MMM, Bacon!™ – The undeniably mouth-watering aroma of sizzling hickory smoked bacon.
  • Riding Mower™ – Hot sun. Cool breeze. And the intensely summery scent of freshly cut grass.

I can honestly say On Tap is my favorite.  The aroma is not heavy, yet enough to make guests walk in your house and say “It smells good in here!”

If you’re looking for a Father’s Day gift, perhaps one that Mom can enjoy, too, make sure you head over to your local Yankee Candle store to smell them for yourself!  These candles range from $17.99 – $27.99, but there are many gift sets to choose from, too!  You will be happy you stopped in!
Make sure you connect with Yankee Candle online and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

In fact, take a look at the Yankee Candle contests you will find online!  This is a great way to win one of these candles for yourself!

Heroes Wear Camo (5/19 – 6/8): Yankee Candle is asking its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram fans to share a picture of the hero in their lives. Whether a parent, teacher, mentor or service member, participants are asked what makes their relationship so meaningful, while tagging @YankeeCandle and using the hashtag #HeroesWearCamo. One winner will be selected at random each week from each platform to win one Yankee Candle large jar candle in Camouflage.

Father Nose Best (5/26 – 6/1): Yankee Candle wants to hear the best advice their fans’ fathers ever gave them, and invite them to post directly to their Facebook wall or send a tweet using the hashtag #YCFathersNoseBest. Five winners from each platform will be selected to win the entire Man Candles collection, and Yankee Candle will choose its favorite entries to create custom images.

Show Us Your Man Cave Instagram Contest (6/2 – 6/8): Yankee Candle will encourage fans to post photos of their own or their friend’s “Man Cave” to Instagram using the hashtag #YankeeCandleManCave. Man Caves are that special place in a home where guys go to escape. Three winners will be chosen to receive the complete Yankee Candle Man Candles collection!

My husband could care less about candles but I bet he’d get a kick out of the On Tap candle. I personally would love to have the •MMM, Bacon candle. I looove the smell of bacon.
