When the 2014 Kia Sorento pulled up in my driveway, I immediately fell in love with the style of this vehicle.  I had no idea there would be so many more features I would love as well.  In fact, you’ll probably tell, but if I could choose any vehicle as my next….this would be it!

This SUV has all the bells and whistles, with a roomy interior.  Our favorite “bell”?   The panoramic sunroof!  My children loved this, and it was the first thing they would ask about after putting on their seat belt.  Even when we didn’t want the entire sunroof open, we had the ability to open the sunshade, allowing the sun to shine in and view outside.  It was great to see the clouds during the day and ride with the stars at night.

And while we’re talking about letting the sun shine in, the rear seat windows each have built in sunshades!  If the sun is on your side, you simply pull down the shade that is built into your door.  This is perfect for traveling short or long distances, providing protection from the sun in only a few seconds.

The 2014 Kia Sorento offers SIRUS satellite radio, rear camera display, USB input jacks and Bluetooth Wireless Technology.

The Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control was perfect for a day of shopping with my husband!  It was nice to have his AC on 65 and mine on 74….with the seat warmer on!

Speaking of shopping, that day lead to lot of bags, plus a stroller in the cargo area.  The Sorento has 36.9 cubic feet of cargo space (without the optional 3rd seat).

The Kia Sorento offers a steady and smooth ride.  Equipped with FlexSteer, which allows the driver to select one of three levels of assistance: Comfort, Normal and Sport, depending on your driving style.

The 2014 Kia Sorento received a five-star crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, as well as a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.  Other safety features include:

I have been looking for a great SUV. I think we will go test drive one of these next week. Thank you for the great information!!

  2. I have been looking at cars, I guess this will be the next one I check out. It looks family friendly but still not a mom van like some cars are.
