Thanksgiving is next week, but with a baby on the way and three children home from school, we’re getting the party started early! I love making quick and easy appetizers that go right along with dishes my husband is already preparing.
This easy appetizer combines two of my favorite ingredients: cheese and biscuits. I headed to Walmart to gather supplies, where I saw a new flavor cheese I just had to try: Bourisin® Montery Jack & Spicy Pepper Cheese dip. Oh yeah! (And I couldn’t resist picking up my ultimate favorite: Boursin® Garlic & Fine Herbs gournay cheese for a go-to appetizer of cheese and crackers!)
The flavors in these cheese biscuit rolls combine to make a great compliment to soup or chili – which is perfect for Thanksgiving or Sunday football games!
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, then simply roll out your favorite biscuits to form a large rectangle. *I like to work with three biscuits at a time, cutting and “pasting” dough where I need it to fit, to make the rectangle. No need to be perfect, as it all bakes together!
I then take the Boursin® cheese and spread a thin layer on the biscuit dough!
When the cheese has been spread, gently roll the dough before slicing. Lay the slices on a baking sheet, then bake according to biscuit’s package directions.
If you’ve got a great recipe using Boursin® (and it can be just as simple as this one) make sure you enter it in the #Walmart #BoursinParty contest on Instagram! It runs through December – Just post a photo of a party dish you made with Boursin®, and tag it appropriately. Entries will be entered to win one of three Walmart gift cards, ranging from $100 to $500!
