This fall, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen is offering guests a way to enjoy its most popular dishes. They have transformed some of their top-selling, scratch-made favorites into newly-imagined dishes, and we were invited to try them out!
Cheddar’s sells more than 30.5 million chicken tenders annually – which is enough tenders to stretch from Miami, Florida, all the way up the East Coast to the edge of Canada. Their Chicken Tenders are hand-cut, coated in seasoned flour, hand-battered and fried-to-order, making them irresistible when you visit the restaurant! …but Cheddar’s kicked it up a notch and put The Chicken Tender Parmesan on the menu!
You read that right. Imagine Cheddar’s #1 entrée as a scratch-made, Italian classic: Panko-crusted chicken tenders topped with housemade marinara sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, served over a bed of spaghetti and alongside a slice of warm garlic bread. It’s so good (my children loved it!)
If you’ve visited Cheddar’s for lunch or dinner one day, you probably saw the best-selling cocktail (otherwise known as the Painkiller) on the menu. More than one million Painkillers are served annually – so many that they could fill nearly five Olympic swimming pools. …and Cheddar’s added a spin to the signature beverage, too! Let me introduce you to the all-new Cheddar’s Painkiller Mini Cake: Homemade sweet coconut cake filled with a Pusser’s Rum-Butter sauce and topped with whipped cream, freshly toasted coconut and a cherry.
I loved the flavors of the Painkiller Mini Cake, but there’s no way I could compare it to the Chocolate Raspberry Mini Cake, as each were unique in their own way!
Just listen to the description: Homemade, gooey chocolate cake filled with fresh raspberry preserves, drizzled with house-made chocolate fudge, then topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Goodness… my mouth is watering just reading that (and while thinking about the incredible starters!)
Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen is known for its iconic, made-from-scratch meals served at affordable prices in a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. Make sure you head to your local Cheddar’s to try a new favorite (and get the onion rings and croissants!)
