On our recent trip to Reunion Tower in Dallas, we glanced at the clock and noticed it was time for lunch! With two options available for dining, Reunion Tower offers your choice of Wolfgang Puck’s Five Sixty and Cloud Nine restaurant. Since we ate at Five Sixty for dinner, we were excited to see what Cloud 9 had to offer for lunch.
Cloud Nine is on the floor above the Geo-Deck, inside the tower. After a fun (and quick) elevator ride, the first thing my children noticed was the rotating floor – I noticed the casual, relaxing atmosphere and scenery (which tied in nicely with the rotating floor, I might add!)
We made our way to a table and found that Cloud 9 offers a selection of menu items including a locally sourced Farmhouse Burger, a Texas California Wrap and a Turkey Club! I ordered the burger, which was delicious in every way. My husband had the turkey club, and I wanted to trade him, but my burger was so good, I didn’t want to at the same time. (I should have convinced him to do 1/2 and 1/2.) With our order, we had our choice of house made potato chips, french fries or a side salad.
With selections for children also available, there was something for everyone with portions (and prices) the whole family can be happy about! *See the children’s hand breaded chicken tender meal below.
The meals are filling, but make sure you don’t fill up – you need to save room for dessert! Cloud Nine makes a delicious “Signature” Cloud 9 Tower: Chocolate, topped with a devil’s food cake ball, filled with chocolate mousse, adorned with heavenly clouds and fresh berries. Yeah. Cloud Nine Café is open daily for lunch from 11 am to 3 pm. No reservations are needed.
