Disclosure: I was provided with a 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander GT for the duration of one week, to facilitate this review. No other compensation was received. All opinions are 100% my own.
I recently had the opportunity to drive the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander GT for a week. We have been looking into an SUV/Crossover type vehicle, so this was a great test to see if an SUV was something that worked for my family.
The Outlander GT is a sleek styling, 4 door vehicle, seating up to 7 passengers. The sporty design gives it a fun family appeal and is designed to fit your small family. It has great features like heated seats, a sun roof, SIRIUS satellite radio, handsfree link system, nine speaker Rockford Fosgate Punch premium sound system and a nice 7-inch LCD touchscreen.
The rear passenger seats provided plenty of room for two car seats, with a third child seated in the middle. The cargo area provides plenty of room as well, and easily held a double stroller (plus groceries). The flap folding tailgate was unique, yet very appreciated! It makes loading and unloading convenient and would be perfect for an afternoon of fireworks, parades or tailgating.
Standard safety features on the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander GT include front dual side airbags, side curtain airbags, hill start assist, stability control and a tire pressure monitoring system. In government, 5-star safety rating, the Outlander received four out of five stars for overall crash protection, with four stars for overall frontal-impact protection and five stars for overall side-impact protection.
The package of features and high safety ratings are enough to make the Outlander GT a great vehicle in it’s class. And it offers a fantastic 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty, too!

Great review!
It’s nice to know the back was roomy, we may be vehicle shopping soon and with 3 kids, a million activities and stuff to haul around that is the one thing I always feel like we need more of. 🙂

That’s a cute car! I like that it’s not a giant beast of a car, but still looks like it has plenty of room to accommodate everyone.

That looks like a fun vehicle. My family is in the market for an SUV, too. We may have to test drive this one soon.
The 2013 Mitsubishi outlander is just amazing in all proportions.
