Genghis Grill, the largest build your own stir-fry chain in the United States, is well known for its fresh, hot and healthy food, and for its style of fun service. Fans head over to the Fresh Market Bar where they are greeted with an array of more than 80 delicious, fresh ingredients from which they can build their own bowl. They then hand their bowl to our grill masters who cook their creation to perfection on a large, sizzling, circular grill.

Fun fact: The first Genghis Grill opened in 1998 in Dallas, TX.  As of March 2014, there are 105 locations in 23 states nationwide.

Another fun fact: Steak is back on the menu thru May 31. Guests can add this protein to build their own bowls or they can try one of Genghis Grill’s sirloin steak recipes below.

Chef Mike Wales suggests the Sriracha Chili Steak Bowl, which combines sirloin steak tips, smoked sausage, ginger powder with baby corn, water chestnuts, carrots, mushrooms and cilantro to create a robust dinner over fried rice.

Chef Greg Schweizer suggests the Garlic Teriyaki Steak Bowl, which is a combination of sirloin steak tips, cabbage, bell peppers, broccoli, carrots and green onions with Island Teriyaki Sauce to create a savory dinner over udon noodles.

My family was invited to Genghis Grill where we made our own combination of our favorite selections.  The ordering process was simple and the staff at Genghis Grill was very helpful in making suggestions and offering recipe ideas.  While we were there, we tried the potstickers from the appetizer menu, which also includes garlic citrus edamame and chicken lettuce wraps.  Each of the items we tried were filling, flavorful and delicious.
