If you are looking for a staycation in the Dallas area, look no further than the Hilton Anatole – with 1,600-rooms, lavish restaurants and a newly opened 3-acre resort waterpark, Jade Waters.

JadeWaters is more than a waterpark, though.  It’s a place to relax, have some family fun or do both!  We visited Jade Waters last year, and my children were stoked when we received an invitation to go back this summer!

But things were somewhat different this year, with a focus on family fun and a child’s best interest in mind!

On your way to Jade Waters, you will notice a Kid’s Concierge, offering many different activities to participate in this summer at the Anatole!  My children were excited to play family BINGO, make a kid’s craft, go on a Pirate Adventure and, my favorite, race ducks in the lazy river!  (Prizes are awarded for certain activities!)

Each of the activities I mentioned are available for purchase, though there are free activities, too!  If you choose to partake in the paid activities, make sure you look into the Anatole’s Fun Pass – it’s a $64 value for only $29.99.  (And it will keep your children very entertained!)

We also loved starting our day at Geppetto’s Theater for Damsels, Dragons & Donuts on Saturday morning.  Damsels, Dragons & Donuts is an interactive marionette puppet show, serving donuts and milk before the show begins!  It was fun and my children enjoyed it!  (Even my one-year-old!) In this show, you will see many well known Disney friends and I can guarantee you will sing along to a few of the songs!  *You can even visit Geppetto’s Theater without staying at the hotel.  Visit Geppetto’s online to make reservations!

We ended the day with a movie in the park.  It was the perfect weather for a movie, and I could have slept on the lawn!  Kid’s Concierge remains open for treats like popcorn, candy, snow cones, ice cream and soft drinks.

Hilton Anatole Dallas JadeWaters Waterpark

JadeWaters is your place to celebrate summer!  Imagine a waterpark for the entire family, exclusive for hotel guests.  Yes, you read that correctly!  JadeWaters offers both a section for kids and a section for adults, with a family friendly area joining the two.

For adults, you’ll find a swim up bar, cabanas and poolside spa amenities.  (They even have in-pool underwater tables at the pool’s bar, which I thought was super cool!)  Make sure you try the Watermelon Margarita, the Caribbean Colada or the Pain Killer when you visit the bar!

For children and families, you’ll find a splashing activity bay, two 180-foot waterslides, a few basketball goals and a fun lazy river that my children could have played in all day long!
