If you are looking for a staycation in the Dallas area, look no further than the Hilton Anatole – with 1,600-rooms, lavish restaurants and a beautiful 3-acre resort waterpark, Jade Waters.
Jade Waters is more than a waterpark, though. It’s a place to relax, have some family fun or do both! We have visited Jade Waters each year since it opened, and I am thankful for the opportunity to make these memories with my family.
JadeWaters offers a tidal wave of features:
- Leisure Cove Pool
- Splash and play area for kids
- Lazy river
- Two 180 ft. winding water slides
- Private cabanas and daybeds
- 23-seat Swim-up Bar
- Jade Waters Grill & Bar
Plus, on the weekends, Jade Waters offers a variety of activities like duck races, movies under the stars, pool parties and so much more! In fact, make note of the Fun Pass, which is your child’s discounted ticket to fun activities featured at the park!
My children love the activities offered by the Kid’s Concierge. They were excited to play BINGO, make a kid’s craft, ride the train, see the marionette show and, my favorite, race those ducks in the lazy river! (Prizes are awarded for certain activities!) Also, you won’t want to miss the Root Beer Garden Party on Friday and Saturday nights!
We happened to be at the Hilton Anatole for Memorial Day weekend, which was commemorated with fireworks just for hotel guests. It was the perfect way to end the day, right on the Anatole lawn.
Side note: On September 2, Hilton Anatole will have another fireworks show exclusively for hotel guests! It was the best view, plus the kid’s concierge was open for drinks, ice cream, popcorn and candy!
HILTON ANATOLE DALLAS JADEWATERS WATERPARK
JadeWaters is definitely your place to celebrate summer! While I mentioned the kid’s activites, they do have a section for kids and a section for adults, with a family friendly area joining the two.
For adults, you’ll find a swim up bar, cabanas and poolside spa amenities. (They even have in-pool underwater tables at the pool’s bar, which I thought was super cool!) Make sure you try the Watermelon Margarita, the Caribbean Colada or the Pain Killer when you visit the bar!
For children and families, you’ll find a splashing activity bay, two 180-foot waterslides, a few basketball goals and a fun lazy river that my children could have played in all day long!
FOOD OFFERINGS AT THE HILTON ANATOLE
There are several options for dining at the Hilton Anatole. Inside, you can dine at Media Bar + Grill, which has delicious entrees like a 72-hour Short Rib, Brisket Mac & Cheese and Surf & Turf. They also have burgers, salads and amazing desserts!
Outside, you can visit JadeWaters Grill + Bar, which offers a different selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Make sure you try the Shrimp Spring Rolls and Buffalo Chicken Salad… two of my favorites that I could eat every single day! (Not to be outdone by the incredible Funnel Fries!) JadeWaters Grill also has chicken tenders, ceviche, hamburgers and quesadillas.
