The Ronald McDonald House program was built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night to rest.
Since 1974, RMHC has provided a “home-away-from-home” for millions of families in the times when they need it most. With local chapters in Dallas & Fort Worth that McDonald’s of Greater North Texas supports, giving is truly a cause that is close to home. In addition to pennies per pound, pennies per happy meals and other local initiatives – customers have the option to donate directly to RMHC families through the canisters located in the restaurants and drive-thru windows. However, as we move towards an increasingly digital and cashless society, in-store giving has been impacted!
That’s why they’re excited to continue with innovation, and are unveiling the newest way to give.
Just in time for the holidays, McDonald’s is rolling out a new menu! But – it’s not the type of menu you’d expect. It’s our Menu of Moments! Moments of togetherness made possible donations made through generous contributions from our supporters.
How can you give? Whether you’re in the restaurants, at the counters, kiosk or drive-thru, you can ask to round-up your purchase and all proceeds will go directly to local RMHC chapters.
To kick off this national movement, we’d love you to join me at a 60 Seconds of Moments Game Night in Fort Worth!
Make sure you RSVP here, so I know to look for you: https://forms.gle/
