Each year, my family heads out for a summer road trip. We load up the car in preparation for the 10 hour drive, and I always think of something I wish I had readily available in the car while we’re driving. Usually, we have what we need somewhere in the car, but that would require we exit the interstate to stop and get what we need. Since I don’t like to stop more than every three hours, we usually do without. (Or it would absolutely take forever to get to our destination!) With this list of what to pack for a summer road trip, I will be sure we have all the essentials within arm’s reach!
- activities for children (books, magazines, activity sheets, bingo, etc.)
- electronic devices, charged and ready to go
- blankets and/or a pillow
- earphones
- tissues
- baby wipes
- hand sanitizer
- any needed medications
- sunglasses
- cold water bottles
- snacks
- money (change) for any toll roads
- camera
- chargers
