One thing on our summer bucket list is taking a trip to the beach. My children love the beach. And since we’re fortunate to have one about 40 minutes away, it’s something we do every summer.
Since we take a little road trip to get there, it’s not too convenient to just run home for something we may have forgotten to pack. I need to make sure it’s all with me when we leave home.
And with that, I have created a list to help you when packing for the beach:
- sand and water toys
- life jackets or floaties
- umbrella or tent for shade
- beach towels
- blanket
- cooler
- swimsuits
- extra clothes to wear home
- beach chairs
- water shoes
- sunscreen
- sunglasses
- hats
- bottles of water
- snacks
- hand sanitizer
- first aid kit
- radio or iPod
- camera – if it’s small, put it in a ziploc with a few holes poked in it for air flow
- grocery or garbage bags for carrying sand or wet items home
