Last week, I had the opportunity to drive the 2018 Ford F-150. Being I hadn’t driven a truck for some time, this was a welcomed change. Though I wish I had found a mud puddle to splash in or a boat to tow, we still made it a fun week!
I had the truck over Mother’s Day weekend, but my husband may have been giddy, wishing it was his gift for Father’s Day. He appreciated the 4×4’s towing capacity and I loved the interior space!
The Ford F-150 is loaded with features I am interested in. These features included:
- a 3.3 Ti-VCT V6 engine
- Auto Start/Stop Engine Technology
- a large capacity fuel tank
- SYNC® with AppLink™
- 2.3″ Productivity Screen
- Chrome bumpers
- Tailgate, power lock
- privacy window tint
As for safety? The standard features are worth noting:
- Rear View Camera with Dynamic Hitch Assist
- AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ (RSC® )
- Airbags – Front, Driver, passenger and side-curtain
And I always love Ford’s lane assist, Bluetooth connectivity and LATCH system for car seats!
Next week, I will drive the diesel model of the f-150, and it will be fun to compare the two! I may have to borrow a neighbor’s boat, so I can test the towing capabilities!
