My family was recently given the opportunity to visit BRIO Tuscan Grille in Southlake, TX, and our experience could not have been more enjoyable.  From the impeccable service to the delicious food, BRIO Tuscan Grille is a restaurant we will not soon forget.

BRIO Tuscan Grille recently launched a brand new “modern” menu that features 13 creative, culinary-forward entrées that include the best of the traditional Tuscan table and vibrant new drinks.   The ample contemporary new menu brings an imaginative twist to Tuscan classics, with many low-calorie alternatives and gluten-free items options available, too.  Every area of the menu has been touched to encourage guests to dine, drink, share and smile, and it’s working.

After the chef visited our table, he sent us an array of appetizers, which were both pleasing to the eye and stomach.  I appreciated the hospitality, and the conversation we had with the chef.  He told us a few restaurant secrets and gave his recommendations on a few main dishes.  The menu holds Tuscan selections, including Roasted Whole Chicken, Tuscan Grilled Pork Chops and Gorgonzola Crusted Beef Medallions.

My husband chose the Espresso Rubbed Ribeye while I had the Lobster Bisque and the Chicken Milanese.  We shared a Kale Caesar salad, because kale is one of my daughter’s favorites!  That combination is definitely a winner!

The Espresso Rubbed Ribeye was our ultimate favorite.  It includes 16 oz. of prime beef, cooked to perfection.  It was served with Fingerling Potatoes Brio, which could have been a meal in itself.  I begged my husband to bring them home, just so I could have them for lunch the next day!

My son ordered the kid’s pizza, which was as big as the plate he ate on! He loved it!

After our meal, we were offered dessert, which was hard to pass up! From the Cheesecake to the Flourless Chocolate Torte, I can promise you, you won’t be disappointed! I could eat the Caramel Mascarpone Cheesecake every single day, while my daughter said the Creme Brulee was her favorite.  Each selection was definitely original, with flavors to match.
