The temperatures are rising and summer will be the perfect time to pull out your blenders and make some refreshing drinks! I am a fan of Starbucks, but the cost of constantly stopping to buy all those coffees and frappuccinos can add up fast! This delicious copycat Strawberries and Cream frappuccino recipe will make your mouth and checkbook happy, especially considering you can make 3 of them for about the price of one!
When my kids begged for an after-dinner dessert, we decided to stop at the store for ingredients to make frapps. They helped shop for the ice cream, strawberries, syrup and milk, then we drove home to pull out the Ninja blender. In less than 5 minutes, we had CopyCat Frappuccinos! They are not hard to make at all!
Ingredients
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup Vanilla Ice Cream
1 cup Ice
2 Strawberries
2 tbsp Strawberry Syrup
Whipped Cream
Add all ingredients to the blender except the whipped cream and blend.
Once the ingredients are well blended and smooth, pour into a serving glass and top with the whipped cream.
My kids like taking this to the park. It’s a great alternative to “plain” ice cream, and they can get in the kitchen and help make the drinks!
