Teacher Appreciation Week is quickly approaching.  (Can you believe we only have a month of school left?)  This year, our school has suggested we send a small gift to our teacher each day that week, with recommendations for the daily gifts.  For instance, one day, the theme is flowers; one day, the theme is a pampering item; one day, the theme is school supplies, and so on.

As a former teacher, I know how much I used to love brand new Sharpie Markers, so that’s what I’ve incorporated into this year’s school supply gift with this free teacher appreciation printable tag that says “Thank you for making a permanent mark in my life.”

These free tags are super easy to print, just hover over the picture below, click the right side of your mouse and hit save or print!  After you cut the paper into four individual cards, have your child sign his or her name, attach a few Sharpie Markers and you’re done!

These packages of Sharpie Markers are always a classroom favorite, and easy to find at a store near you.  I purchased this pack from Amazon (as part of a huge set) for about $12.00.  That’s super helpful when you have 20 teachers among 3 school age students!  *I am not saying this is the only gift you should give your teacher, and I’m not saying it’s not.  I think any teacher would be thankful to get any token of appreciation, whether it’s big or small.  For us, we usually give several little gifts with a large gift on the last day, but seriously — do what works for you.  No judgment here!*

  1. These are AWESOME! And ageless- I’m fairly certain my ninth grader will roll his eyes- but I’m going to make him take these to his teachers anyway– everyone loves sharpies!!

  2. Great printables! My kids love giving gifts to their teachers to show their appreciation and as a working mom, I can’t find time to do DIY projects all the time. You made this gift so easy to make. Will print this on a nice hard paper and let my kids do the rest thanks!
