When thinking of a cute and healthy Valentine for boys to hand out to friends this year, I had to come up with an idea that was not girly – and one that would suit boys of 9 and 4 years old.

Our friends at Go Go Squeez came to mind, and my brain started thinking of cute “man”ly phrases to print on a tag, which would then be attached to the caps of Go Go Squeez pouches.  Since there are so many GoGo Squeez varieties, there is sure to be a flavor that everyone loves!

A racing theme of “Go Go Go to the finish, Valentine” was quickly approved by my 9 year old, while the 4 year old simply requested to indulge in a pouch of his own.

To make them, just head to your favorite store to pick up some Go Go Squeez, then print this sheet of tags.  Using scissors or a 2″ hole punch, cut them out and add a hole to the top.  Have your child sign the back, then use yarn, ribbon or unscented dental floss to attach to the cap of Go Go Squeez!

Since I’m almost certain this will be my oldest son’s last Valentine’s Day party, we agreed to come up with a safe saying to celebrate…

With holidays making their way to our calendar nearly once a month, I started to make an easy treat that can be customized in many different ways. Since everyone likes a nice cup of hot chocolate or coffee, these chocolate spoons add just the right amount of flavor to warm up any afternoon. Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, I added pastel and heart shaped sprinkles to this batch of spoons, but you can add red and green…

Apples are a healthy snack, loved by adults and children alike.  When I was asked to sign up to bring a Valentine’s Day party snack to my child’s class, I knew I wanted to make these apple peanut butter treats, but the list of ingredients to avoid (due to class allergies) gave reservations.  I had to come up with a healthy snack that was cute and delicious… and something everyone could enjoy. The sweet thought of Opal Apples kept coming back to…
